Our Love Story
Though born oceans apart on different continents, Dylan and Charlotte were instantly connected by a love for adventure and a profound alignment of beliefs, values, and morals.
Their journey began during Dylan's first visit to the United Kingdom, and it was there, at UK Parachuting, that they met. Although it was Dylan’s first time skydiving abroad, their friendship formed immediately rooted in shared adventures, a passion for music, and a devotion to God.
The true turning point arrived the following year upon Dylan's return to the UK. It became beautifully apparent to both that their relationship had shifted deepening beyond friendship, into a love that grew stronger with each passing day. Together, they traveled, discovering new places and learning the beautiful depths of each other’s hearts.
After two years, Dylan moved to Cape Town, and it was there, at the V&A Waterfront, that they became engaged. Now, as they approach their wedding, they stand on the cusp of a lifelong commitment, filled with immense joy as they look forward to marriage and building a future together as one before God in the UK.

What is the Dresscode?

Spring & Summer Florals
As the ceremony may take place within a forest setting and guests are encouraged to enjoy the dance floor throughout the evening, we kindly suggest wearing comfortable footwear suitable for outdoor terrain and dancing.
When should I arrive?
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 15:00, and we kindly ask guests to arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow enough time to settle in and find their seats.
The bar will open one hour prior to the ceremony, and guests are warmly invited to enjoy drinks on the deck before making their way to the ceremony area.
Can We take photos?
We are fortunate to have a wonderful professional photographer capturing our special day, and we kindly ask our guests to put away their phones and cameras during the ceremony and simply enjoy the moment with us.
We would love for everyone to be fully present as we celebrate this meaningful occasion together. Of course, photos and videos during the reception are more than welcome.
Can we bring our own food & drinks?
Please note that Deannie Landgoed maintains a strict no outside food or beverages policy.
The venue offers a fully stocked bar service for the convenience and enjoyment of all guests.
Kindly note that the bar operates on a cashless basis, and card payment facilities will be available throughout the event.
Is Parking Available?
Yes! Complimentary parking will be available onsite. Attendants will be there to guide you upon your arrival.
Can we bring our children?
We absolutely adore your little ones; however, we have decided to keep our wedding celebration adults-only.
We hope this advance notice allows parents the opportunity to make the necessary arrangements and enjoy a relaxed evening celebrating with us.
Parents with very young babies will be contacted privately regarding arrangements.
Thank you so much for your understanding — we cannot wait to celebrate this special day with you.
We are not having kids at the wedding, but we will message the parents with small babies that they can bring them.
What time does the reception end?
Our reception will end at 23:30. We hope you’ll dance, celebrate, and enjoy every moment with us until the very last song!
Will the bar be open or own account?
Pre-drinks are on us, thereafter, on your own account 🙂
